Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me,
for in you my soul takes refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings

Don't rely on other people to make you feel a certain way. Everything you want is inside of you because God put it there. Your happiness and your sadness and your self worth are in there. Relying on outside sources to define you does not make sense and will not work.
